When you deal with A.M.H.P. you’re working with Thierry (pronounced Terry) and Barbara Honore whose shared passion for motorcycling and high quality service delivery will guarantee your happiness with their product.
Thierry and Barbara have owned A.M.H.P. since 2003. The aim was to make A.M.H.P. an
international mail order business and that is what it has become. Not only are their
headlight protectors found in dealerships around Australia but also in America, Taiwan
and New Zealand.
Thierry and Barbara have also been attending the Motorcycle Expos in Brisbane,Melbourne
and Sydney in the past few years. It has given them a wonderful opportunity to meet many
of their online customers.

Thierry Honore
Thierry has been involved with motorcycling for the last thirty two years ever since he first rode his grandfather’s little French Solex Scooter with its 49cc motor on the front wheel. Being beaten by a push bike, though, wasn’t his idea of fun! His cousin introduced him to a hotted up Honda Dax, initiating an interest that remains until today; anyone visiting the 'hobby' workshop will discover the current works in progress as Thierry continues to hot up these little monsters. They cluster around the BMW R1200C like so many sucker fish round a shark!
Belgian born Thierry and his family migrated to Australia in 1963 where he became an Australian citizen. Like many new Australians, he returned to his birthplace where he entered an apprenticeship as a motor mechanic. He returned to Australia in 1978 and worked for Ford, becoming a sheet metal worker.
Later down the track he teamed up with Barbara. She says she fell in love with his ‘red and white leathers’ and the red Monster but it was probably seeing Thierry on a sidecar as a ‘monkey’ at the Lakeside race track that really made him her hero.

Barbara Honore
He raced there for two and a half years taking home trophies to prove his dedication to the sport and to house alongside his 100 die cast motorbike models. Whatever the reason Thierry and Barbara got together, it was ‘love at first rev’, and they’ve been gunning their motors in harmony ever since - on the road, at motorbike shows and in the workshop. You won’t find a better team than these two.
Thierry brings a meticulous attention to detail and his years of experience with motorcycles to the business and Barbara makes sure that every order is dealt with personally and efficiently so that there’s a minimum delay in getting your headlight protected and keeping your well earned dollars in your pocket when you hit the gravel. When you purchase an A.M.H.P. headlight protector it is a truly Australian product made in Brisbane, Australia. |
